The Project Development Objective (project development objective) is to increase the efficiency and resilience of trade, transport, and digital connectivity along selected corridors in Bhutan. The project will pilot a road maintance contract to implement climate adaptation features along key transport routes, including NBS for flood attentuation and slope stabilization.
The Improving Connectivity and Urban Infrastructure in Cabo Verde aims to to improve access to climate-resilient transport and urban infrastructure for selected project areas in the Recipient’s territory. The project will support urban greening to mitigate heat and protect against storm surge.
The objective of the Emergency Connectivity Restoration Project for Rwanda is to restore the connectivity in areas of Rwanda affected by floods and landslides in a climate-resilient manner. There are four components to the project, the first component being rehabilitation and repair of damaged transport infrastructure in a resilient and safe manner. This component includes four subcomponents: rehabilitation of national roads, rehabilitation of district roads, and rehabilitation of bridges.
The objectives of the Project are to improve resilient and safe connectivity from the KLP (Masaka) to the regional logistics corridors and support local and regional economic activities around the corridors. The project will plant 7,000 trees alongside upgraded roads to combat land degradation, erosion, and landslides.

The project comprises of five components.
The development objective of the Climate Resilient Roads for the North Project for Mozambique is to improve climate resilient road connectivity in the Northern Provinces of Mozambique. The project comprises of four components. The first component, climate resilient road connectivity improvement will support the improvement of roads and bridges in the north. It consists of following sub-components: (i) improvement and maintenance of road network; and (ii) construction of bridges. The second component, safe access and mobility improvement will include an integral approach to road safety.
The development objective of the Assam Resilient Rural Bridges Program for India is to build green, inclusive, and resilient connectivity in rural Assam and strengthen the Assam Public Works Roads Department’s (APWRD) roads and bridges management capability.
The development objective of the Secondary Cities Urban Mobility and Development Project for Burkina Faso is to improve urban mobility, access to basic services and economic opportunities, and strengthen institutional capacity for urban management in selected secondary cities in Burkina Faso. The project comprises of five components. The first component, urban mobility services and infrastructure will support the improvement of urban mobility in the three cities by financing the rehabilitation and upgrading of urban roads and road safety improvements.
The development objective of Green National Highways Corridor Project for India is to demonstrate safe and green National Highway corridors in selected States and enhance the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in mainstreaming safety and green technologies. This project has three components.
