The development objectives of the Resiland CA+ Program : Kyrgyz Republic Resilient Landscape Restoration Project for Kyrgyz Republic are: (i) to increase the area under sustainable landscape management in selected locations in the Kyrgyz Republic; and (ii) to promote Kyrgyz Republic’s collaboration with other Central Asian countries on transboundary landscape restoration. The project comprises of three components.

The project aims to enhance the climate and disaster resilience of critical public infrastructure and strengthen disaster risk management capacity in Uttarakhand. The project will reduce landslide risks through bioengineering solutions and mitigate fire hazards by restoring degraded land.

The development objectives of Third Additional Financing for Strengthen Ethiopia’s Adaptive Safety Net Project are (a) to expand geographic coverage and enhance service delivery of Ethiopia’s adaptive rural safety net to improve the well-being of extremely poor and vulnerable households in drought prone communities, and (b) in case of an Eligible Early Response Financing Event (“Eligible ERF Event”), respond promptly and effectively to it. This project has three components.

The project aims to improve the livelihoods and climate resilience of pastoral and agropastoral communities in the lowlands of Ethiopia. The project will implement NBS for flood risk mitigation, as well as wetland protection and maintenance to counter flood and drought risks. 

The objective of the Second Regional Climate Resilience Program for Eastern and Southern Africa Project is to improve resilience to water-related climate shocks in Malawi and in the Eastern and Southern Africa region, and in case of an eligible crisis or emergency, to respond promptly and effectively to it. There are five components to the project, the first component being risk management and climate financing.

The Program Development Objective is to improve land and water resource management and restore degraded ecosystems in selected areas in the Yellow River Basin in Gansu Province and Shandong Province. The project will increase local flood mitigation capacity by restoring wetlands and rivers.

The development objective of the Water Security Project for Burkina Faso is to improve the safety of dams, access to associated irrigation and watershed services, and climate resilience for beneficiaries. The project comprises of six components. The first component, security and climate resilience of water storage infrastructures will support the securitization of priority dam infrastructure to ensure continued access to and valorization of the associated water resources, building flood, and drought resilience.

The development objective of the Resilient Water Management for Community and Household Irrigation Project for Bolivia is to improve integrated water resources management in selected basins and increase the resilience to climate variability of vulnerable rural families in selected micro basins. The project comprises of four components. The first component, water resources planning, and pre-investment studies will fund studies that seek to address, respond to, and build capacity on present and anticipated impacts of climate change on water resources.

The project aims to improve access to basic services and enhance disaster and climate resilience of the Host Communities and Displaced Rohingya Population (DRP). The project will support afforestation in host communities and refugee camps in Bangladesh's Cox Bazaar district to enhance resilience against extreme weather events, as well as consider NBS to protect water sources as part of water supply infrastructure plans.

The objectives of the Resilient Landscapes Project for Armenia are (i) to increase the area under sustainable landscape management in selected locations and (ii) to promote sustainable economic activities to communities in targeted landscapes in Armenia. There are four components to the project, the first component being Institutional Capacity and Policy Development. The project supports integrated landscape management such as restoration of degraded wetland and rebuilding of fragmented forests.
