The operation supported integrated urban regeneration, mobility, and flood risk management in selected counties of Ningbo Municipality (Xiangshan, Ninghai, Fenghua).

The Project Development Objective is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance nature-positive urban development in Guiyang. The project will enhance flood control by restoring river banks and implementing NBS for soil erosion control, and restore terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.

The Program Development Objective is to improve land and water resource management and restore degraded ecosystems in selected areas in the Yellow River Basin in Gansu Province and Shandong Province. The project will increase local flood mitigation capacity by restoring wetlands and rivers.

The objective of the Hunan Forest Restoration and Development Project for China was to enhance the resilience and environmental function of selected ice storm affected ecological forest plantations in Hunan Province by increasing forest species diversity and vegetative tree cover in those areas. There were two components to the project, the first component being reforestation and rehabilitation of damaged ecological forest plantations.

 The objectives of the Project are to improve flood risk management and reduce discharge of water pollutants in Hezhou Municipality。The project will implement hybrid solutions to support riverine flood mitigation.

The development objective of the Guangxi Laibin Water Environment Project for China is to reduce flood risks and improve drainage in selected areas of Laibin city. The project has four components. The first component is river flood risk reduction.

he development objective of the Green Agricultural and Rural Revitalization Program (RRP) for Results (Hubei and Hunan) for China is to enhance adoption of environmentally sustainable agricultural and rural infrastructure development practices in selected areas of Hubei and Hunan.

This project aims to strengthen integrated pollution and watershed management in the Qiandao Lake and Xin’an River Basin through investments in climate-smart agriculture, wetland and forestry ecosystem protection, and improved water and wastewater management. It also builds institutional capacity, including piloting Payment for Ecological Services (PES), to ensure the long-term sustainability of landscape and water resource improvements.

This program aims to improve institutional coordination, ecological restoration, and water quality management along the Yangtze River Basin in Hubei Province. It includes ecosystem restoration, sustainable agriculture, and waste management initiatives to support green development and protect water resources, leveraging multi-level government and private sector financing.

The objective of the Jiangxi Poyang Lake Basin and Ecological Economic Zone Small Town Development Project for China is to improve key public services in participating small towns of Jiangxi Province through improvements to prioritized infrastructure. The project has three components. (1) Transport infrastructure improvement component will fund the construction and upgrading of about 76 km of urban and country roads including some bridges in selected counties/cities, and construction of a new urban central bus station in Gongqingcheng City.
