The Multiphase Programmatic Approach (MPA) Phase 1 will modernize Lima’s traffic management and support sustainable, green, and inclusive urban mobility. It finances expansion and centralization of the traffic lights system, an automated traffic violation detection and control system, safer intersections and traffic‑calming zones, and improved connectivity for non‑motorized transport (cycling and walking), plus project management and capacity building.

This Development Policy Operation with a Catastrophe Deferred Drawdown Option (Cat DDO) supports the Republic of the Marshall Islands to (i) enhance fiscal management and (ii) build disaster and climate resilience.
