The development objective of the Flood Risk Management Support Project for the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires for Argentina was to strengthen the autonomous city of Buenos Aires (CABA) to efficiently manage flood risk and improve the drainage systems in the Cildanez basin, Maldonado basin, and Vega basin. The project comprised three components. 1) The first component, institutional development for flood risk management supported the creation of a modern and sustainable framework for flood risk management within CABA.

The development objective of the Flood Management Project for Ethiopia is to strengthen Ethiopia’s institutional capacity for disaster risk management (DRM), and flood risk management in selected basins. The project comprises of four components. The first component, strengthening institutional and coordination capacity for disaster risk management aims to improve the Government of Ethiopia (GoE) DRM by strengthening the institutional capacity of federal-level agencies (including priority sectors) and the coordination between federal and decentralized levels of the government.

This project focuses on improving integrated water resources management and access to water and sanitation services in Uganda's priority urban areas. Key activities include implementing catchment management plans, strengthening water monitoring systems, and expanding urban water supply infrastructure while enhancing institutional capacities for sustainable resource management.

The Stormwater Management and Climate Change Adaptation Project 2 aims to reduce flood risks in peri-urban Dakar and enhance urban flood risk planning and management in selected Senegalese cities. The project integrates climate risk and sustainability into urban planning and management, supports drainage investments, engages communities, and strengthens emergency response capacity.

The objective of the Jiangxi Poyang Lake Basin and Ecological Economic Zone Small Town Development Project for China is to improve key public services in participating small towns of Jiangxi Province through improvements to prioritized infrastructure. The project has three components. (1) Transport infrastructure improvement component will fund the construction and upgrading of about 76 km of urban and country roads including some bridges in selected counties/cities, and construction of a new urban central bus station in Gongqingcheng City.

The development objective of the Second Southeast Asia Disaster Risk Management Project for Cambodia is to improve the disaster and climate resilience of flood-damaged rural roads in target areas, improve the capacity of the Government to prepare for and respond to emergencies, and provide immediate and effective response in case of an eligible crisis or emergency. The project comprises of four components.

The development objective of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project for Nigeria is to increase the implementation of sustainable landscape management practices in targeted watersheds in northern Nigeria and strengthen Nigeria’s long-term enabling environment for integrated climate-resilient landscape management. The project comprises of four components. The first component, dryland management will implement integrated watershed management planning and addresses challenges of large-scale watershed degradation in northern Nigeria.
