The Government of Senegal, in coordination with sector ministries and municipalities, implemented this project to improve stormwater drainage and flood prevention in peri-urban Dakar. The project consists of three main topical components, ranging from flood risk mainstreaming in the urban sector, drainage investment and management, to community engagement in urban flood-risk reduction and adaptation to climate change.
