Türkiye Earthquake Recovery and Reconstruction Project

The project will restore access to essential municipal and health services and resilient rural housing in provinces affected by the February 2023 earthquakes. It finances rehabilitation and reconstruction of municipal water, sanitation, stormwater drainage, and associated infrastructure; restoration and equipping of essential health services (including prefabricated facilities, mobile primary care and diagnostics, and disability services); and resilient, energy‑efficient rural housing and village infrastructure, plus project management and Hands‑on Expanded Implementation Support.

Promoting Community Led Nature-based Solutions to Climate Change Adaptation in the Usangu Catchment

The project will promote community-led nature-based solutions to climate change adaptation in the Usangu catchment by financing rainwater harvesting and storage facilities, boreholes, rehabilitation of small check/charco dams to reduce channel erosion and gullying, river training to enhance flows and reduce flooding, tree planting for catchment conservation, and village land use plans for sustainable landscape management.

Mindanao Transport Connectivity Improvement Project

The project will improve connectivity, climate resilience, and safety of selected roads in Mindanao by: (i) upgrading three local “link roads” to national standards with climate‑resilient and road safety measures; (ii) rehabilitating and enhancing priority sections of the Cagayan de Oro–Davao–General Santos (CDO–Davao–GenSan) corridor, and introducing output/performance‑based maintenance; (iii) strengthening asset management, institutional capacity, and road safety; and (iv) enabling rapid response through a Contingent Emergency Response Component.

Southern Niger Connectivity and Integration Project

The project will improve climate-resilient road connectivity and enable value-chain logistics development in southern Niger by financing rehabilitation of the RN1 Maradi–Zinder section (bitumen), associated secondary and rural roads, and logistics-enabling measures; strengthening institutions and project management (with HEIS); and providing a Contingent Emergency Response Component for shocks. The design integrates climate-resilient road standards, drainage and safety, and targeted support to logistics services linked to agricultural value chains and sub‑regional trade 

Enhancing Landscape and Ecosystem Management (ELEMENT) Project

The project will improve integrated landscape management and ecosystem services and increase benefits for targeted forest‑dependent communities in Tripura and Nagaland. It finances restoration of degraded forests, agricultural lands, and wetlands; soil and water conservation; afforestation and agroforestry; climate‑smart agriculture; enhanced biodiversity conservation; and community‑led landscape planning and value‑chain development for forest‑based livelihoods.

The Project Development Objective is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance nature-positive urban development in Guiyang. The project will enhance flood control by restoring river banks and implementing NBS for soil erosion control, and restore terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.
