The project develops high-quality designs for a green, resilient, and inclusive waterfront park in Downtown Kingston, alongside urban upgrading and institutional capacity building to catalyze private sector-led redevelopment. SOP 1 finances conceptual and detailed designs, baseline and planning studies, MSME mapping and economic activation, and advisory services (including a City/Business Improvement District model), with climate‑smart and universal design principles embedded and a CERC for shocks.

The program strengthens the institutional framework and infrastructure planning and delivery for inclusive and sustainable urban growth in Amaravati. As a Program-for-Results operation, it supports results-oriented reforms and capacity building in urban planning, infrastructure delivery, and governance to enable resilient, well-managed city development, with implementation led by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Regional Development Authority

The Project Development Objective is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance nature-positive urban development in Guiyang. The project will enhance flood control by restoring river banks and implementing NBS for soil erosion control, and restore terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.

The project will improve resilient connectivity in the Northern Metropolitan Area of San Salvador (Apopa logistics node), strengthen sustainable road sector management, and enable rapid emergency response through a CERC, including climate-resilient designs for the Apopa bypass and bridge SAL38, and institutional capacity building (road asset management, road safety, gender, and integration of nature-based solutions into design standards)

The project will improve access to affordable and resilient housing for low-income populations and upgrade urban infrastructure and services in selected settlements, while strengthening government capacity to implement and scale affordable housing and settlement-upgrading policies and instruments; a contingent component enables rapid response to eligible crises or emergencies

The project will strengthen Colombia’s program to manage risks from climate, disaster, and public health shocks by improving access to financial instruments (e.g., contingent credit, parametric insurance) and advancing resilience and climate adaptation policies across sectors and at subnational levels.

The project supports sustainable coastal and blue economy development by combining policy and institutional reforms with targeted urban investments. Components include (i) development and adoption of spatial planning, tourism and environmental policies and a carbon market framework; (ii) upgrading the Belize City wastewater treatment plant to reduce land-based pollution; (iii) expansion of the potable water network in South San Pedro; and (iv) a solid waste management pilot in San Pedro, alongside project management and a contingent emergency response. 

The project restores disaster-affected sectors and strengthens preparedness after Hurricane Beryl, focusing on coastal and port infrastructure recovery and resilience. Activities include rehabilitation of fisheries landing sites and fish markets, strengthening and upgrading coastal protection (e.g., breakwaters/break walls, seawalls, shoreline stabilization and coastal road protection), and repair and rehabilitation of the Port of Bridgetown, alongside improvements to emergency management systems and studies to enhance port and fisheries infrastructure resilience

The Improving Connectivity and Urban Infrastructure in Cabo Verde aims to to improve access to climate-resilient transport and urban infrastructure for selected project areas in the Recipient’s territory. The project will support urban greening to mitigate heat and protect against storm surge.

The PDO is to improve regional collaboration and the socioeconomic and climate resilience of targeted communities in the Senegal River Valley (Mauritania and Senegal).
