It finances climate-smart priority infrastructure (urban roads and footpaths, stormwater drainage networks, area-based drainage, parks and public spaces, riparian and coastal landscape resilience, markets and bus stands), an integrated metropolitan solid waste management system (shared facilities such as landfills, transfer stations and recovery facilities, dump closures, and an intermunicipal SWM institution), institutional strengthening (urban services O&M, own-source revenue systems, resilient urban planning, and emergency planning/communications), project management, and a Contingent Emergency Response Component for rapid response to shocks
