Investment Project Financing to construct a new ~46 km, two‑lane, climate‑resilient and safe road connecting CA‑4 (near Macuelizo) to CA‑13 (near Corinto, at the Guatemala border), improve resilient feeder roads, and support inclusive, integrated forest and sustainable landscape management and institutional capacity. The PDO is to improve climate‑resilient and safe transport access in northwestern Honduras and promote sustainable livelihoods through landscape management and women‑led economic initiatives. Total financing: US$187 million. Planned closing: Dec 31, 2031. Implementing agency: Secretariat of Infrastructure and Transport (SIT). Environmental and social risk classification: High. Early implementation is rated Satisfactory in the ISRs.
