The project will improve access to climate-resilient infrastructure and basic services in selected Central African Republic cities by financing flood and erosion risk reduction and neighborhood upgrades. Eligible works include stormwater drainage (culverts, bridges, canal outlets), water retention basins, dredging of drains, and nature-based solutions such as urban parks, street tree planting, and gully/slope stabilization (e.g., Krainer walls and slope planting). It also strengthens climate risk–integrated planning and urban management, including hydrologic/hydraulic and geotechnical analyses to inform designs and future climate projections
