Sustainable, Integrated and Safe Road Infrastructure Project

The project will improve regional transport connectivity and enhance road network management for climate‑resilient and safe roads, with a Contingent Emergency Response Component. Investments include (i) upgrading Route 2b (M‑18) between Brod na Drini (Foča) and Hum (Šćepan Polje), including culverts, small bridges, interchanges and local connections, to improve connectivity, safety and climate resilience; (ii) rehabilitation and maintenance of priority main roads with measures such as pavement works, drainage and slope stabilization, road safety improvements (including for non‑motorized transport), and bridge/tunnel rehabilitation; and (iii) road safety inspections/audits and institutional support to strengthen asset management and sector management
