Lessons Learned: Implementing Nature-based Solutions in Urban Settings

Rapid urbanization has brought a multitude of urban resilience challenges, including increasing disaster risk, pollution, and loss of urban green spaces. In many places, nature-based solutions (NBS) can address these challenges, while bringing benefits for biodiversity and the local economy. 

The Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) and the Global Program on Nature-Based Solutions for Urban Resilience (GPNBS) invite you to a BBL to discuss lessons learned from projects that have successfully integrated NBS into urban settings. The session will include presentations from Argentina and Senegal, focusing on implementation challenges, highlighting successes, and recommending approaches applicable in client countries.
