The project will increase access to water supply and sanitation services and improve service delivery capacity in selected areas of the Kyrgyz Republic through a 10‑year Multiphase Programmatic Approach. Phase 1 (IPF) finances: climate‑resilient water supply systems in unserved and underserved rural settlements; rehabilitation/upgrades in district centers; priority decentralized sanitation for vulnerable households and public institutions (schools, kindergartens, health centers); fecal sludge management improvements; sanitation marketing and behavior change; and performance‑based grants to strengthen service providers. It also supports program structuring, institutional development, and a Contingent Emergency Response Component for shocks
